It is quite amazing how people have managed to become so complacent in what they do, to merely become a commodity. &quot;I&#039;m an insurance agent&quot; doesn&#039;t get anyone too far.  Neither does &quot;I&#039;m a real estate agent/mechanic/attorney/fill in the blank&quot;.  For insurance agents, that cute little gecko on TV is appealing enough to me that the rest that don&#039;t set themselves apart all fall into the same bucket of boring.  When it comes down to it, without the catch line, insurance agent, real estate agent, mechanic, and attorney (among others) are all businesses that just about anyone has a relationship with (either their brother-in-law, a good friend, a cousin, or a someone in the chain gives you a connection) that person/professional.

So, if you don&#039;t have the catch line or &quot;the hook&quot;, done spend too much time complaining that you aren&#039;t as successful as you&#039;d like to be.  Without setting yourself apart from the other people that do what you do and look like you look, be prepared to be mediocre.  It&#039;s not everyone else&#039;s fault, it&#039;s yours.</description>
